V.S.O.P. XO Extrait is not just a “stronger" version of V.S.O.P. Every element has been reworked and balanced to bring you something I am certain you will enjoy. 

V.S.O.P. XO Extrait has been entirely reformulated to keep the familiarity of the original, but highlight the new richer, deeper elements. At first spritz you will initially be reminded of V.S.O.P., but 10-30 minutes in and you will start to notice the effervescence and deeply rich “booziness” from the addition of rose otto. With the higher extrait de parfum concentration, you will experience its evolution and dry down much more slowly and intimately.

When I first set out to create V.S.O.P., my intentions were to make a perfume that wears like an elegant Old Fashioned cocktail. I did not want any singular note or element to be overwhelming, rather they all meld together harmoniously.

My goal in crafting V.S.O.P. XO Extrait de Parfum was to keep the familiar elements of the original perfume, but more focused on what a Cognac Old Fashioned “does,” not just what it “is”; which is something that evolves over time and unfolds with depth and richness.

To achieve that I have added materials like coffee flower absolute, rose otto, three additional types of vanilla including: Tahitian, Madagascar, and Mexican. Also present in the amber base is cistus absolute which lends a smoky, “oud-y” ambergris-like quality.
